景色很好，3月较暖，柳树在2月底就抽芽了，3月可以看到杨柳和温暖的春风。可以去西湖南线（苏堤）雷峰塔六和塔玉皇山

夏季，西湖的湖面上，荷叶、荷花挨挨挤挤。最引人注目的是那洁白如玉的荷花，娴静、素洁，真是“出污泥而不染。”荷叶托着那些晶莹、如玛瑙般的露珠，又守护着亭亭玉立的荷花和胖胖的花骨朵，就简直是一幅用大画家的画卷也不上的美丽风景画。
秋季的西湖，是一派成熟的景色。岸边十里飘香的桂花呀，真让人留恋往返；湖面上，荷叶像害羞的小女孩，都低下了脑袋，躲藏了起来，她们在提醒和等着人们去采那根下的莲藕呢。这时候，人们划着轻快的小船，哼着悠闲的小曲，轻轻地采下莲藕。那一只只莲藕呀，白白胖胖的，*一个个一丝不挂的小胖娃娃，让人爱不释手。你要是从筐子里随便拣上一只，洗洗干净咬上一口，脆生生的，那味儿一直能甜到你心里。
西湖的冬天也不例外。虽然花儿都谢了，但湖水还是清澈见底，盛开的梅花更是美丽无比；雪天，银装素裹，河堤边的孩子们在欢快的玩耍，欢笑声，雪飞声，合在一起，变成了一首美妙的交响曲。
