Exam is just for the purpose of test the students' study in recent time but not by which to assess a student's capability. Attention shall be paid to the all-round development and pratice ability. No matter how high score you get, without practice ability you cannot be accepted by the society when you graduate and enter society. For example, during a summer camp, the self-manage ability of the foreign students is much better than that of Chinese students because their education pays high attention to their practice ability. Therefore I believe exam is justa a format. We should pay more attention to the students' practice ability.

Exams are just means to evaluate students' learning process in a short term, hence we should not assess a student's skills based solely on grades. We also need to stress on students' well-rounded developments and applied skills. Because once they
leave school to go out in the real world, they may not survive
no matter how well they do in exams.

Here is a example, in a summer camp, students from abroad demostrated far better living skills compared to Chinese students, because their education programs incorporated trainings on applied skills. Therefore I believe that exams
are just one form of assessments, more importantly, we should also emphasize on students applied skills.
